Crispy Chickpeas Method

  • Preheat the oven to 165°C
  • Drain and rinse 1 or 2 cans of chickpeas
  • Spread the chickpeas on a kitchen towel and gently pat them dry – this is important for a crispy result
  • Place chickpeas on a lined baking tray and toss them with a generous drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of sea salt.
  • Spread evenly on the baking tray and place in the oven.
  • Check in 20 mins – they may need an extra 5-10 mins.
  • Remove from the oven and, while the chickpeas are still warm, toss  your favourite spices or some dulse flakes
  • So simple and delicious. Enjoy!
